Jesus Told Peter When You Turn Again

Randy Kelley

Everything is a spiritual battle. Information technology does not matter the significance of the determination, every choice is a spiritual battle. You may want to do right and have no intentions of doing wrong, only a bad pick is a failure of religion.

The Word of God states in Luke 22:31-34, "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: but I take prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when chiliad fine art converted, strengthen thy brethren. And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to get with thee, both into prison, and to expiry. And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that g knowest me."

Peter loved Jesus and had left his profession of fishing to follow Jesus completely. At the point in time that Jesus told this to him, Peter had no intention of e'er denying Jesus. However, Peter was not aware that a spiritual battle was under way and the devil had requested that Peter be allowed to be tested. From this passage we see two things that will assist the states to continue our organized religion strong and non let information technology fail.

The start truth is that the devil wants God's people to fail, but He has to ask permission before he can exam them. Y'all may exist asking, "Why would God allow the devil to tempt believers?"

In a brief explanation (since space is limited), the devil is allowed to tempt considering of sin entering the earth through Adam and Eve. I day, God will establish a new heaven and earth where in that location will be no more than sin, but until that twenty-four hours, the devil is allowed to tempt humanity.

However, the Bible does tell united states of america in I Corinthians ten:13 that God doesn't allow united states to be tempted above what we tin can endure and that He always provides a way of escape. Child of God, take comfort in the truth that the devil cannot tempt y'all unless he asks God, and God volition non allow you lot to go through more than y'all can deport. Keep your eyes on Jesus, be obedient and He will guide you through any struggle.

The 2nd truth is that Jesus prayed for Simon (Peter) that his faith would not fail. Peter didn't know that there was a battle going on for his faith, only Jesus did and He prayed.

The Bible tells the states that Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for us and the Holy Spirit prays for u.s.a. when nosotros don't know what to say or ask. Whatever the battle may be that you are going through, you are not solitary.

When the disciples doubted Jesus, He would rebuke them for their lack of faith. In fact, the disciples asked Jesus to increase their faith. Faith has always been the vehicle past which the children of God take exercised the power of God while accomplishing the volition of God all for the glory of God. The Bible tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. Salvation comes by faith alone and our service to God is by organized religion in His Word.

You can exercise all things through Christ.

Permit your organized religion be potent in each boxing y'all face and claim the victory for the glory of God. Imagine the bear on that could exist made if God'southward people lived by faith and chose God in every determination.
